In this guide, you will learn the step-by-step process on how to create, edit, and view stats and leaderboards in the StatStak Labs platform. Stats are crucial with athlete evaluation and comparison, ensuring a smooth tryout and analysis process.

Step-By-Step Guide:

1. Access the Settings:

To get to the stats and leaderboards editor, first enter the settings in the admin portal.

Enter the facility settings to edit your website details. Included in this section is the stats and leaderboards editor.

3. Select your facility:

Select the facility you wish to edit. Make sure you are on the correct facility before proceeding.

Select stats & scores to begin editing your facility's data.

5. Initial Stats Edits:

When you open the stats & scores settings, first select if you want stats, make them public, and if you want a simple leaderboard. The simple leaderboard option displays the data in a minimalistic fashion without any unique icons. Next, select which stats you want to include, you may double click this section to add in new ones.

6. Select your Leaderboard Stats

Next, choose which stats you want to display on your leaderboard. This is useful for comparing stats and scores for specific metrics when analyzing players. You also must select which stats have lower numbers as better scores. This is crucial for speed statistics for example.

7. Enter Hidden Stats:

It is important for coaches and trainers to have access to statistics that they do not want athletes to see. This is useful when a facility has their own metric to grade players in tryouts for example. You may create an option for only admins to be able to record. You also may create a hidden field stat which allows access for athletes and parents to view as well, but not public.

8. Customize User Profiles:

Edit the profiles of your users on leaderboards to show user specific data. This includes their position and contact information, as well as any other details you wish to include.

9. Upload your Statistics

Select upload data at the bottom to fill out your leaderboard.

10. Upload your CSV:

Upload a CSV with up to 99 rows of data to fill out the leaderboard. Make sure you follow the guidelines described below the upload field to ensure a smooth process. The verification file ensures that when you complete the upload process, the data you uploaded is trustworthy. This can include images or documents verifying the data.

11. View your Leaderboard:

Access your leaderboard on the landing page. If necessary, add the leaderboard button through the facility settings and website design if it is not there already.

This is an example of what the leaderboard will look like. If you selected simple leaderboard at the start of the process, it will be a much more traditional, minimalistic view.
