This guide will provide you with a step-by-step process of how to configure your terminal so you can start taking offline payments at your facility. Please note, we have already completed the bootup for your terminal, so you will just need to connect it to your wifi.
Step-By-Step Guide:
Configure the Device Network:
First, you will want to configure the device network. To do this, press 1+5+9 (159) simultaneously on the terminal keypad. This will bring up the SCA Desktop menu.
2. Select Com Control:
From the SCA Desktop, select Com Control. The Com Control menu is where you will configure the terminal to your facility's WiFi connection.
3. Enter the Network Configuration:
Select WiFi to enter the network configuration. Enter the passcode '200331' and hit 'OK'
4. Search for Your Wifi:
Select 'WiFi scan' to search for available networks. Select the SSID for the WiFi connection.
5. Verify the SSID:
After verifying the SSID details, select Add.
6. Select the Pre-Shared Key (PSK):
Select the 'Pre-Shared Key (PSK)' to enter the WiFi password.
7. Enter the Pre-Shared Key (Wifi Password):
Enter the Wifi password by using the terminal keypad. Please note, the password must be at least seven characters long.
8. Save and Confirm the Pre-Shared Key:
Once you enter the password, press 'save' on the authentication screen. After you have saved the password, hit 'OK' when prompted by the green check with 'Added'
9. Apply Settings on Interface:
After hitting 'OK', select 'Yes' when asked to apply settings on the interface.
10. Confirm Network Connection:
Once you apply the settings on the interface, the terminal will display the connection status. The screen will show 'Accepted' and 'Interface Started' after establishing the WiFi connection. Select 'Ok' and you will see a green dot in the top left corner stating that you are online.
11. Hit X Five times:
After completing all of the steps above, hit the red 'X' button on the terminal five times. This will bring you back to the terminal home page and you are ready to start processing transactions!
